Techno Functional Customer Journey Expert (Java)Amsterdam
For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a techno functional Customer Journey Expert (Java).
The goal of this area is to enabling a stable core platform with straight through processing of client services request and real time reporting.
At this moment we see a lack of automation, standardisation and scalability in the processing of transactional data and service requests via our Lending core systems. Ideally all our client service request and transactional data will be automatically processed via different channels and interfaces that reduces handling time for our customers and users and increases efficiency of repetitive/manual activities and help us to scale our services on a global scale.
The purpose of the Integration squad is to accelerate the creation of the API's for Loan IQ and LenDX database. These API's forms the basis for our integration with systems like the online channel, Pega workflow tooling and Loan Origination applications as also for any integration with external systems. These CJE's, together with the development engineers in the squad, will help to refine the integration journey and the needed data elements and the authorization model in the API.
Your role and work environment
The purpose of our Tribe: “Create a fast, seamless, personalized & data driven digital Lending Xperience”! The Tribe is responsible for easy, reliable and controlled processes for getting lending products (e.g. loans) and managing those products. Also the distribution of the products to lenders and investors (amongst others syndications) is part of the scope. Our clients are spread across 40 countries; we are converging to one way of serving our clients, delivering an uniform client experience across countries. The Tribe is divided in multiple squads of which the Lending Integration squad is one.
Techno functional Customer Journey Expert
The techno functional Customer Journey Expert (CJE) has end-to-end responsibility for the development, management, harmonisation and phasing out of commercial products and services with a view to achieving an optimum customer experience. The CJE works most of its time in a squad within the Agile organisation. Works together with other experts to achieve the squad's mission. Has expertise in the areas of marketing, product management, design, development, test automation and process optimisation. A CJE is also a member of a Chapter where he or she works on its craftsmanship. In the chapter we will build and extend craftsmanship on Lending products, Customer Journey, Product development and collaboration with third party solutions providers.

-You focus on continuously improving the digital journeys we are offering
-Search and propose solutions using the newest technologies
-You are able to develop, implement and communicate the roadmap around the Lending Integration vision by seamless integration into the value chain of our clients and by connecting it with other internal and external capabilities
-Ensure code quality and maintainability by tackling technological debt, conducting code reviews, and refactoring
-Help your team grow and think of ways to make solutions scalable and future proof
-You are able to perform (automated) testing, facilitate and support user acceptance testing for new releases
-You define business requirements for the development of products and services
- Ensure our licence to operate by secure and flawless 24/7 operations while ensuring regulatory compliance

Your education, experience and background:
-Bachelor / Master degree
-You have a pro-active and hands-on attitude; you speak up about your ideas
-8+ years hands on professional experience
-Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
-Excellent knowledge of Java 8, Git, Maven
-Experience with Tomcat Server
-Experience in creating web applications, SOAP/RESTful APIS
-Good skills in writing unit and integration tests using Junit
-Good knowledge of relational databases, e.g. Oracle
-Experience with projects within the Spring Framework, like Spring Boot and Spring MVC
-Knowledge of Micro-Services architecture, dispersion services, scalability, container technologies: Docker, OpenShift
-Knowledge of Hibernate Framework
-Excellent level of English.
Additional preferred skills:
-Prior experience of working in an agile/DevOps environment
-Knowledge of Continuous Delivery tools, such as Azure DevOps
-Experience in work with message brokers: WebSphere MQ, Kafka
-Scripting skills using languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python
-Knowledge of Java 11 and beyond is a plus
-Functional / technical knowledge of LoanIQ
-Experience/affinity with Wholesale Banking Product Area(s) and IT is a plus
