Customer Journey Expert


For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Customer Journey Expert.

For our client we are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) / Customer Journey Expert (CJE) with experience in the Payments and Reporting Domain to strengthen the Payment Journey stream which is one of the delivery streams in the overall NextGen Program, in order to comply with the regulatory Deadlines for Target2 Centralization, Market Infrastructures and CBPR+.

Your work environment:

The program is set up to facilitate the move to the new ISO 20022 XML message exchange standard which will impact all message exchanges between our clients entities, Financial institutions and access and communication with Local clearings across the globe.

You will become part of the Payments Journey team where you will be working on the Central delivery of Payments & reporting solutions together with squad(s) within our clients Agile organization.

Stakeholders and consumers of these Central Payments & Reporting capabilities will cover all our clients entities where integration and testing of these functionalities will be an important part of the job.

Your key responsibilities

• Ensure our license to operate by complying to our clients internal as well as external regulations.

• Business Requirements gathering / requirements management

• Business-Process analysis and modelling.

• Technical implementation and integration support (business verifications)

• Test support

Proven track record and technical skills

• Minimal 3-5 years of proven experience and knowledge of the E2E Payments lifecycle and its products. Covering payment standards SEPA, Instant Payments, Domestic, International, RTGS, ISO 20022 for MX and SWIFT MTs, PSD regulation

• Bachelor or Master degree / level.

• Able to simplify solutions and processes and tell the story clearly to clients, stakeholders and colleagues

• Proactive, and a natural drive to act and deliver results on time.

• Excellent team player.

• Highly self-organising, pragmatic and always seek opportunities to improve the work.

• Excellent in English (Dutch is a pre).
