For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a  Change Portfolio Consultant (PMO, Obeya, Azure, BI)

We are looking for a Change Portfolio Consultant, specifically for PMO related activities to support the department in the further professionalization of the use of their virtual Obeya, backlog administration in Azure Boards, Portfolio Management in Service Now and needed reports on management information for several governance bodies. This consultant needs to strengthen the capabilities in this field in the Process & Organisation team. You will support the business manager and the process-and-organization team in being able to structure and cope with the increasing demand of management reporting in a sustainable way and to further professionalize the work at hand. They need to do this in order to set-up a structural governance in a proper and sustainable manner for the future.

What’s a Change Portfolio Consultant?

As a Change Portfolio Consultant you will be working in a complex application landscape for the departments. You work at a place where you are together with a number of colleagues in charge of the correct and consistent set-up of amongst others Obeya’s, Azure Boards backlogs and reports.

Within the organization, they have an Agile delivery model including various (Bus)DevOps teams. Most of the teams and applications operate in a blended sourcing model; consisting of both on- and offshore employees, external vendors and their international employees. To help us realize our goals and ambitions we are looking for an enthusiastic Change Portfolio Consultant.

We are looking for a driven Change Portfolio Consultant applying procedures, tools and methods, with great understanding of practices and approaches. You are an expert in building relationships/ team working, resolving conflicts and problems with strong influencing and persuading skills. As a Change Portfolio Consultant you have great communication/listening skills and you are strong in gathering information without losing your focus on your customers. You bring positive energy to the teams and have very good social skills.

- The professional ensures that decisions can be taken based on the right information by setting up the right structures.

- The professional provides the function for managing documentation and document history.

- The professional automates as much as possible the recurring and repetitive work related to the delivery of management information.

Who are you?

You are a driven Change Execution Professional that must be passionate about Obeya as the leadership system and you have deep knowledge of the use and possibilities of Azure Boards and reporting possibilities in the tool itself or with Power BI. You are ambitious with what you and your team want to achieve. You stimulate yourself and the team members towards continuous improvement. You bring positive energy to the team and have very good social and communication skills.

Your education, experience and background:

• Education at Bachelor/Master level with a strong background in IT.

• Relevant IT experience: 5 years

• Experience in directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes (6 months)

• Sound knowledge of Obeya as leadership system

• Sound knowledge of Azure Boards

• Sound knowledge of Service Now PPM

• Sound knowledge of Power BI

• Sound knowledge of setting up a sustainable Way of Working around the use of an Obeya and reporting needs for several governance bodies.
