SAS DevOps engineer

For our client in the surroundigs of Amsterdam, we are looking for a SAS engineer

The engineer will help integrating Marketing Analytics tooling (SAS360) in our tech landscape, connecting different services in our messaging and customer data platforms, and building internal tooling for our end-users.

Profile SAS DevOps engineer

The SAS team has some big plans for 2023 and upcoming years, and we need a developer to make that happen! We have plans to work even harder to improve our campaign management abilities and increase customer engagement. This is just a sneak peak of what you'll get to work on:

• Improve customer segmentation and personalization abilities by exposing new data sources to SAS Campaign Management, for example by connecting to and setting up Kafka topics and event streaming from our mobile apps and web

• Upgrading SAS Campaign Management to SAS CI360, a cloud based solution, smoothening omnichannel customer targeting

• Connect the to-be-introduced Customer Data Platform to SAS CI360 (2023)

• Improve our tooling by creating customized data items and stored procedures, enabling the business to continuously improve the customer’s experience

• Sturdy, improve and professionalize our workflow, enabling swifter and faster development and deployments

• Help setup and improve monitoring on system and business critical processes

Together with other developers and teams, you'll work on providing and maintaining a stable and flexible marketing solution which is used for contacting millions of customers every week (omnichannel).

Our requirements

• Advanced PL/SQL (Oracle) programming skills (must have)

• SAS programming skills (must have)

• Experience with shell scripting

• Understanding of SAS admin role

• Understanding of relational databases

• Understanding of Java/REST API is a pre
