Qualogy recently obtained ISO 27001:2013 certification, the international quality mark for information security. What makes this certificate so unique is the inclusion of privacy in its measures. Qualogy has become one of the first Dutch organisations to fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and to pass the external audit.
Thanks to this certification, Qualogy can provide its customers with an airtight security policy. From now on, Qualogy will work in full compliance with the GDPR, which enters into effect on 25 May 2018. This is a revelation for organisations, as Qualogy can now support them in complying with complex legislation.
High-quality information security management system
'We are committed to improving the security of our customers' data,' says Koos Wijdenes, Security & Privacy Officer at Qualogy. 'This commitment was rewarded in the form of an ISO 27001:2013 certificate, which was granted because of our high-quality information security management system (ISMS). At Qualogy, we guarantee the security of our customers' data.'
Qualogy supports companies in GDPR compliance
The ISO 27001:2013 certificate allows Qualogy to support other companies in their pursuit of airtight security and privacy policies. 'With years of experience in IT and information security, Qualogy has gained the necessary expertise to streamline and manage external information flows,' says Wijdenes. 'Qualogy can also draw this knowledge and experience to provide expert advice in the field of complex GDPR legislation.'
