Are you the true link between business and IT? Do you want to add value to products and achieve results together with your team? We are looking for an energetic Business Analyst to join our organization and be the lynchpin within IT projects for our prominent clients. A business analyst plays a crucial role in understanding the needs of an organization and translating those needs into concrete IT solutions. As a business analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex IT issues and identifying the best approaches to achieve the company's goals.

Competencies you possess:

  • Analytical thinking skills: Able to analyze complex (IT) business issues from different perspectives, interpret data and generate relevant insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at various organizational levels. Must be able to explain complex analysis and findings in an understandable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Analysis: Able to identify stakeholders, understand their needs and develop effective communication strategies. Must be able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to increase engagement and collaboration.
  • Willingness to take on new things: Proactive attitude toward learning and exploring new tools, methodologies and technologies.
  • Quickly acquire knowledge & visualize: Ability to quickly acquire new domain knowledge and understand and visualize the organization's business processes and models (ideally using BPMN). Must be able to quickly assimilate into new projects and industries.
  • Organizational Ability: As a business analyst, you play a crucial role in coordinating various tasks, projects and stakeholders within an organization. To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have strong planning and organizational skills.

Who are you:

You are a business analyst with at least 3 years of work experience within the (semi)government or financial sector, where you have worked on various projects and responsibilities within your area of expertise. In addition, you possess the following:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field such as Business Administration / Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with analytical methods, such as requirement engineering, gap analysis, problem analysis and process modeling. You should be familiar with various techniques and tools to map and analyze business processes and requirements.
  • Experience with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is required. You must be familiar with BPMN 2.0 and be able to analyze, develop and document process models according to the BPMN standard.
  • Good stakeholder management skills. You must be able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives. Understanding the needs of stakeholders and effective communication and collaboration with them is essential.
  • Proactive and self-starting mindset. You must be able to take initiative, identify opportunities and work independently to achieve results.

In addition, it is a plus if you:

  • Have a sales-oriented mindset, where you are able to understand and communicate the value proposition of solutions, and are able to identify customer needs and translate them into appropriate solutions.
  • Have experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Have experience with data analysis, data processing, data modeling & data presentation (PowerBI/Tableau).
