A partnership is an arrangement where different parties agree to cooperate to advance their mutual interests. At Qualogy Data Science we understand the importance of such cooperations to increase the use and understanding of Data Science within companies and government. By enabling access to tools, approaches and innovative technology.
Qualogy count with different partnerships along its history. Oracle partner since many years, Qualogy received two Excellence Awards from Oracle The Netherlands in 2016. More recently we welcomed Google and Amsterdam Data Science as industrial partners.
Since the start of Qualogy Data Science, we have been partners with Leiden University to bring innovation, expertise and new ideas to our clients and society. Some examples of joint collaboration projects are shown below.
Citius Altius Sanius
In this wide-ranging research project, universities, businesses and sports organisations are set to join forces in an effort to prevent sport injuries and to stimulate people to participate in sports, physical activity and fitness by providing motivational cues about their performance, using advanced sensors and data science. The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) is providing a grant of 4 million euros to support the project. Partners include 6 universities, 23 companies, two city councils and 11 sports organisations.
The aim of this collaboration project, is to develop a smart platform for dynamic data analytics that is based on automatically constructed data analysis pipelines (data preprocessing, feature engineering, image processing, predictive modeling, and multiple objective optimization). To demonstrate the approach, two complementary practical application tasks were selected: the early detection and treatment optimization for Parkinson’s disease, and the cost- and environmentally optimized management of energy for private households with electric vehicles.
