For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Back-end Java Developer (Java 17+, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, SQL, REST).

This role is not suitable for ZZP. If needed we can provide a payroll contract.

Application description

The applications are based upon Spring Boot, built and deployed from an Azure DevOps pipeline into a private OpenShift cloud.

The team uses Azure DevOps for their daily work (issue tracking & CICD).

Expected technical skills

Java 17+ with hands-on experience

Spring Boot 3

JPA/Spring Data JPA/Hibernate

Experience with SCRUM and embracing it

JUnit and Mockito

Understanding and applying the SOLID principles

OpenShift/Kubernetes knowledge is a plus

Azure DevOps knowledge is a plus

Grafana (dashboard maintenance) is a plus

We expect work delivered with full test coverage

Soft skills

English language professional level

Transparency, multiple eye reviews are enforced. Even Rockstars will have to explain what they are doing.
