For our client in the surroundings of Amsterdam we are looking for a Tech Sourcing Manager (IT Sourcing Specialist)

For our European Tech Sourcing team, we are looking for an experienced Tech Sourcing Manager to support and lead IT sourcing activities for our Dutch retail brands.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused assignment where you independently lead complex IT sourcing initiatives, manage strategic suppliers, and deliver measurable commercial value.

Please note: we are explicitly not looking for a general Procurement Specialist, but for a true IT Sourcing Specialist.

The focus of this role is on strategic sourcing activities such as supplier selection, RFx management, negotiations, and sourcing strategy — rather than operational procurement or contract administration.

The Tech Sourcing Manager reports to the Manager Regional Tech Sourcing NL.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end IT sourcing initiatives, including:

• sourcing strategy
• RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ)
• supplier selection
• negotiations
• contracting

Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business and technology priorities

Drive cost savings and value creation across the IT portfolio

Manage and challenge strategic IT suppliers on pricing, performance, and risk

Translate business and IT requirements into sourcing and contracting solutions

Prepare and present sourcing strategies and business cases to stakeholders

Ensure compliance with procurement governance and legal standards

Profile

5+ years of experience in IT sourcing / technology sourcing

Strong experience with:

• RFx processes
• supplier negotiations
• stakeholder management
• enterprise IT suppliers

Experience with one or more of the following:

• cloud
• SaaS
• software licensing
• managed services
• IT infrastructure
• Strong commercial and communication skills
• Independent, hands-on, and result-driven
