For our client in Amsterdam, we are looking for a SAS infra GCP Engineer (SAS 9, SAS Viya, RHEL, Azure Devops).

As a SAS Infrastructure DEVOPS engineer your responsibility is to design and automate the implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions based on SAS 9 and Viya products. You are also responsible for performing lifecycle management, hardening security and complying with the international banking risk standards.

Roles and responsibilities

• Hands-on installation-, upgrade- and support experience SAS 9 and/or SAS Viya (Platform Operations)

• Administrating Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System

• Administration and managing GKE and/or AKS

• Automation tools (e.g. Ansible, terraform)

• Profound knowledge SAS 9.4 and/or SAS Viya administration

• Knowledge on Azure DevOps: Continuous Delivery, Pipelines e.g.

• Python and/or Shell and/or PowerShell programming skills

• GIT or any other distributed version-control system

• Lifecycle Management and release management

• Backup/restore and Disaster Recovery principles

• Enterprise level Monitoring (eg GCP Monitoring)/ Automation/scheduling/Administration (CMDB)

• Experience with Agile, Scrum and DevOps

• Ability to work well with others and understand business processes

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Education: at least Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology

• Experience from working in high performing Agile IT teams

• Track record of successfully automating operations of software products

• Excellent understanding of English
