For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (Azure ADX, Ansible, Terraform, Scripting)

As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of Platform and Data engineers to set up and maintain an environment that ingests metadata from Public Cloud providers such as Azure and GCP. This data is enriched and transformed to be displayed on multiple dashboards, providing insights to internal public cloud consumers on their compliance (adherence to implemented policies), FinOps data, and more.

How to succeed:

• 5+ years of Experience as a Data Engineer

• Experience with Azure ADX, Fabric, Function Apps, Event Grid

• Knowledge of tools like Ansible, Terraform, etc

• Proficient in multiple programming languages, including Python, Java, and Bash

• Wel-versed in Azure DevOps, CI/CD tools and pipelines

• Expertise in data collection, processing and analysis

• Familiar with Azure and GCP

• Thrive in a dynamic environment and stay updated with the latest Cloud trends

• Provide guidance and support to the team through technical challenges

• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision making

• Experienced developer with e.g Python, Java, Bash

Education and background:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology

• Experience with working in high performing Agile IT teams 

• Certifications and/or proven proficiency in one or more technologies requested

• Good understanding of English

• Familiar with Agile / Scrum methodology

• Strong team player with experience working with cross-country teams
