Within COO Tech & Transformation, our mission is to enable this by bringing transparency, control and standardisation to the IT products delivered across our client. By making product information explicit and accessible, we help teams make better decisions, reduce duplication, improve cost efficiency and deliver technology more effectively at scale.

This function will report into the lead Product Catalogue and Standards Management under the Product & Service management department.

The team is responsible for building and evolving the Product Catalogue as a central platform that supports Product led Thinking across our client.

Role purpose

As Engineer V with a back end and integrations focus, you take ownership of key technical components of our client's Product Catalogue. The Product Catalogue is a strategic internal platform supporting product transparency, governance and AI enabled insights across our client.

You design, build and evolve back end services and integrations, ensuring the catalogue is scalable, secure and future ready.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop and evolve back end services and APIs for the Product Catalogue

Own and improve integrations with other our client platforms and systems

Ensure security, access control, auditability and compliance with our client standards

Proactively address performance, scalability and reliability concerns

Act as a technical sparring partner to other engineers and product management

Contribute to architectural decisions within the boundaries of the product domain

Support AI enabled features from a platform and integration perspective

What you bring

Strong experience in back end development and enterprise integrations

Experience designing reliable and scalable services in complex environments

Solid understanding of security, access control and operational requirements

Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for technical outcomes

Strong collaboration skills in multidisciplinary product teams

Previous experience at our client or strong familiarity with our client's technology landscape is a strong plus
